Learn from the experts! Bring your most challenging case to present to our expert panel. Topics include: Arthroplasty, fracture treatment, instability, rotator cuff repair, biceps, SLAP, frozen shoulder, and more…

Recommended for participation: Submit 6 PPT image/video slides to SDSI prior to course. Include brief patient history, treatment, patient outcome and questions for panel. Ensure no patient identifiable information or company trade names are presented in slides. Presentations will be reviewed prior to presentation and are limited to 15 minutes per case.

Pre-registration required to present cases. Specific session participation details provided with course registration confirmation. All welcome to listen and learn!

Participants are exposed to multliple equipment options to practice arthroplasty and fracture fixation techniques. Attendees will select specific equipment to review current technological advances and surgical techniques in shoulder arthroplasty.

 

Arthroscopy Model Laboratory

Select specific equipment to learn arthroscopy expertise by individualized instruction on a shoulder model. Held Wednesday morning, this laboratory is based on identified needs of arthroscopic shoulder surgeons for a specific technique. Instructors will teach the steps of their preferred technique using shoulder models.  There will be two registrants for each shoulder model.  Arthroscopic cameras, anchors, and repair instruments of only one manufacturer will be available in each lab.

In the USCD laboratory setting, specimens will be provided for dissection, open reconstructive techniques, and/ or arthroplasty in groups of three-six persons.  Session provides individualized instruction by expert faculty. 
Bus Transportation is provided from the hotel to the UCSD laboratory. The bus will leave the hotel at 1:45 p.m.
